Right now, listening to nickelback's "if everyone cared", makes me scoff and wonder about today's government and secrets. how shameful it possibly it be?
To look back and try to forgive the US government for what it does done to everyday people is not possible. Sadly, our government will always be corrupted but sometimes we need more truths and honestly than myths and lies. Being a prideful American, its hard to admit these things and even admit that China will sooner or later be a matching power to the United States. The plague of influence sometimes is something we cant over look and its eating me to trust our government. hopefully, the next president will not a be manager and instead open up his arms to welcome us.
Like i said, the US government and its policies has been here for almost 300 years. And one of most shameful moments of the US government and CIA occurred after World War 2. The journalist tried to get their hands on this 27000 page report about the events about the CIA but the CIA called for the government to be restricted from being released. In the memo, contains things such as after the war the US hired Hitler's former spy director of the Eastern Europe to be the director. The CIA protected many hidden former Nazis and even recruited them and sadly they became double agents for the soviet union.
Sad but true. Supposedly there are even more secrets hidden by the government. Even though the exposing of this to the media i believe people have the right to know what takes place in a government "elected" by the people. Hopefully, we'll make through this increasing time of confusion and disaster.
